The Gewiss GW44007 junction box with a low screw-on cover is a safe and robust solution for electrical installations in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Designed to house common wiring junctions, this box ensures effective protection against dust and water splashes, thanks to its IP55 ingress protection rating.

With internal dimensions of 190 × 140 × 70 mm, this box provides generous space for making comfortable and organized connections. It features 10 cable entry holes of Ø37 mm on the side walls, facilitating the entry of conductors and their proper distribution. It is made of GWPLAST 75, a thermoplastic material with high mechanical and chemical resistance, halogen-free according to EN 60754-2, making it a safe option in case of fire.

The low cover is secured with 4 insulated screws with a sealable hinge, allowing for secure closure and quick access during maintenance tasks. The impact resistance is certified as IK08, ensuring excellent durability against accidental impacts or handling. Additionally, it complies with the insulation class II standard according to IEC 61140, ensuring protection against indirect electrical contacts.

This box has been designed to withstand demanding conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +60 °C and resistance to glow wire at 650 °C. It has also passed the ball pressure test at 85 °C, validating its performance against heat and deformation.
